Garlicky Sautéed Greens with Lemon & Herbs
Sautéed with garlic and olive oil, then brightened with lemon juice and sunflower seeds, this quick kale dish is tender, flavorful, and ready in minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, mined
- 1 bunch kale, destemmed and chopped
- lemon juice, from 1/2 a lemon
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, Optionally toasted
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium.
- Add garlic and cook ~30–60 seconds, just until fragrant.
- Add greens in batches, tossing to wilt evenly.
- Sauté until tender (~4–5 minutes).
- Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and season to taste.
- Sprinkle with toasted seeds if using.
- Serve immediately or warm.
