Green Beans with Garlic and Basil

Ingredients
- 3 cups green beans, cut in half
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp basil, fresh, chopped
- salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Once the oil is hot, but not smoking, add the chopped garlic and saute until fragrant.
- Then add the green beans.
- Season with a little bit of salt and pepper.
- Saute a few minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup of water.
- Put the lid on and turn the heat to low.
- Simmer about 5 minutes until the green beans are tender.
- Stir in the basil.
