Quick Pickled Red Onions



These quick pickled red onions are great to make as part of meal prep. They are a delicious addition to salad and many other dishes.

Quick Pickled Red Onions

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water, or more to cover the onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a jar or Pyrex container mix together the vinegar, water, salt and honey or maple syrup.
  2. Add the onions.
  3. Ideally let it sit in the frig, covered, overnight.
