Tajin-Accented Tilapia with Lemon

Tajin-Accented Tilapia with Lemon

Ingredients

  • 5 fillets tilapia, thawed and patted dry
  • 1/2 tsp Tajin seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 lemon, half juiced and half sliced into thin rounds
  • parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat fish dry.
  2. Sprinkle fillets with a light dusting of Tajin and a touch of garlic powder.
  3. Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add fish and sear 3-4 minutes until golden.
  4. Flip fillets, add remaining 1 Tbsp olive oil and lemon slices to the pan. Squeeze 1/2 a lemon's juice over the top. Cook 3-4 minutes more, until fish flakes easily.
  5. Plate the fish topped with caramelized lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
